Pay-What-You-Can Pricing
Illinois Art Station is committed to ensuring that young artists and families from all neighborhoods and backgrounds have access to transformative hands-on experiences in the visual arts regardless of their ability to pay. To achieve this access, IAS offers a pay-what-you-can model for class and camp registrations.
We know that IAS families who are able to financially support the Illinois Art Station and our programs will do so happily. We also know that our IAS families who require assistance will benefit greatly from a flexible pricing structure. Your tuition—no matter the total—will help cover the costs of expert planning/facilitation, materials, site maintenance, and everything else that makes IAS programming so great. AND, any additional funds will help sponsor the cost of hands-on art engagement for young artists and families who require reduced or free tuition. Thank you in advance for your support and helping make art accessible to all who are drawn to it (pun intended)!
Families with an annual household income less than $36,000 or who qualify for free/reduced lunch should feel welcome to pay less than the recommended amount. Costs of classes and camp vary.

Kerfuffle’s The Conductors: A Play For Very Young Children
Brought to you by Illinois Art Station and The Connecting Routes Project. This program is supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, an agency of the State of Illinois, the McLean County Arts Center, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
ALL ABOARD THE MAGIC TRAIN!
Illinois Art Station, The Connecting Routes Project, and Kerfuffle invite you to be a part of the First Amtrak tour of The Conductors: A Play for Very Young Children on Tuesday, June 4.
Directed by Ashley Laverty, The Conductors is an original live theatrical and musical production for young artists under 6 and their adults that celebrates themes of community, friendship, and new experiences – while exploring everywhere a train may take you and everyone it may connect you with. A formative first theater experience for the very young. The Conductors encourages audiences to “find their treasure” in everyday adventures, whether it be in blanket forts with grandma or meeting new friends in outer space. The Conductors is inclusive and accessible to all. The play is almost entirely nonverbal, so it can be understood and enjoyed by those who speak any language and are of any age.
The Conductors will be performed twice in Bloomington-Normal on Tuesday, June 4. Both performances are FREE and open to the public. No registration or tickets required.
A FREE creative drama workshop will be offered for children under 6 years old and their adults at Illinois Art Station between performances. There is limited capacity for this workshop, so registration is requested through www.illinoisartstation.org.
Learn more about this tour at www.connectingroutes.org/Illinoisartstation.
