The Conductors: A New Play for Very Young Children

June 4 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm CDT

Illinois Art Station, The Connecting Routes Project, and Kerfuffle invite you to be a part of the first Amtrak tour of The Conductors: A New Play for Very Young Children on Tuesday, June 4.
The Conductors is an original live theatrical and musical production for young artists under 6 and their adults that celebrates themes of community, friendship, and new experiences – while exploring everywhere a train may take you and everyone it may connect you with. A formative first theater experience for the very young, The Conductors encourages audiences to “find their treasure” in everyday adventures, whether it be in blanket forts with grandma or meeting new friends in outer space. The Conductors is inclusive and accessible to all. The play is almost entirely nonverbal, so it can be understood and enjoyed by those who speak any language and are of any age.
The Conductors will be performed twice in Bloomington-Normal on Tuesday, June 4:
10:00 a.m. at Connie Link Amphitheater in Normal as part of the Town of Normal’s Terrific Tuesday/Thursday summer lineup
2:00 p.m. at Bloomington Public Library
Both performances are FREE and open to the public. No registration or tickets required.
