Beginning April 2024, every FIRST Saturday of the month is Sensory Saturdays at the Station from 10:00am – 12:00pm. During this time, young artists and families can enjoy a sensory-friendly artmaking experience with low lighting, reduced sounds and smells, and with supports and tools available to help ensure a positive and transformative time at Illinois Art Station.

All young artists and families who benefit from reduced sensory stimuli are welcome to create with IAS during Sensory Saturdays at the Station.

Illinois Art Station will remain open from 10:00-2:00 per usual on the first Saturday of the month, with sensory-friendly hours only guaranteed from 10:00am – 12:00pm. Saturdays at the Station rates of $9/young artist still apply.
